1975 Ducati 900 Supersport. Very rare, one of 200 built in the factory race shop. Most of these were raced and beat up. This one is unmolested and has original paint. It is the only 900 that was sold with the fiberglass tank. This is an opportunity to own a real piece of Ducati history that is a show winner.

Won "Best of Show" and "Concours award of excellence" at Larz Anderson Classic European M/C day, Boston, October 2007.  Won "Best in Show" at Ducati Superbike Concorso, Road Atlanta, GA Sept 2007. Bike is in excellent virtually all original condition. The bike is very rare.  In an email Ian Falloon told me "I know of about six unrestored low mileage examples". He considers the 1975 "The finest of all the super sports"  246 of these built in race shop.

1954 BSA Shooting Star; Very nice correct restoration of the model that BSA used to dominate Daytona in 1954,

It was a special order model by a Canadian dealership, delivered just after the Daytona victory of 1954.. The seperate headlamp with underslung pilot light with speedo and tach are what distinguishes it from the standard machine.
Since the picture was taken the restored original Lucas Altette horn has been added as has front number plate and side stand.
Colours are matched to the original paint that was on the machine, Dark green frame and wheels, fine metallic green on tank fenders and sides

1956 Gilera Dustbin
This fascinating machine came from the marvelous motorcycle museum of Guy Webster in Ojai California. His museum features rare Italian sport and racing bikes. This motorcycle is a wonderful recreation of a 1956 Gilera 125 G.P. machine. In the mid 1950s Italian factories looking for more speed developed full enclosure type fairings. "Dustbins". These fairings were used in all the G.P. Racing classes. 125, 250, 350, and 500cc. Speeds jumped dramatically, but because "dustbins" were dangerous to handle in windy conditions the FIM outlawed them after 1956.

This celebration of a Grand Prix "Dustbin" using an original 1956 Gilera has been completely restored and runs and shifts as new. A tribute to the 1950's and the Golden Age of Motorcycle Racing.

Mint original paint and chrome.  Only one owner since new.  Comes with extra solo seat and windscreen.

In 1929 arms manufacturer Frantisek Janecek of Prague , Czechoslovakia decided to produce motorcycles. They entered the market with a shaft drive in a pressed-steel frame. English designer G.W. Patchett joined the Jawa factory in 1930 and created racing machines with a 498 cc unit-design ohv engines and chain drive. This is the Parilla formula one racing iron used by the countess Maria Bandini “Mama” when she won the 1953 Italian speed ironing championship at Rome. The countess vanquished all her opponents with her tremendous, on the edge, display of blistering speed and amazing control over a track of both linen and silk, becoming a racing legend in Italy. Just imagine the sheer adrenaline buzz of witnessing a pack of these screaming machines at speed, cheered on by delirious Italian fans. While training for the World Speed ironing championship to be held in Paris, her beloved son, Luigi was tragically killed practicing for the 1954 Milano Taranto endurance race on his experimental MV Agusta Monomoto.T he Countess’ husband, count Enzo Bandini “The Falcon” forbid her to ever race again, declaring that racing was just too dangerous! A short time later, due to some rather nasty explosions during iron racing events, the Italian government outlawed the sport and ordered its citizens to turn in all internal combustion powered irons. The Golden Age of iron racing was over. No one knows how the Contessa was able to keep her Parilla iron, but it was discovered among her effects after her death at age 103 in 2004. A family member contacted the collector Todd Fell offering him this fascinating piece of Italian racing history.
This championship machine is in its original unrestored condition, the only known survivor of the Golden Age of Iron Racing.
