Copyright 1999 through 2015 - J Wood and Company,

Folks,

It looks like we will be having another great auction coming up. Our good friend, Gordon Razee of Razee Cycles is closing a big warehouse (not the shop, that is doing great) and we have been contracted to sell all of the approximately 220 motorcycles on the list to the highest bidder.

The bikes are all sorts of conditions, sizes and ages from riders to parts bikes, mopeds to Goldwings. We will be getting better photographs and a list as we dig them out. Here are some notes on what I found so far.

Classic bikes: We have a 1947 Vincent Rapide that runs good, these are some of the most collectable bikes in the world and a great ride and investment. Everybody had heard of the famous "Black Shadow", well a Rapide is the same basic bike for half the price. I found a great barn find 1966 Triumph TT. The TT was made for racing and they were real hot rods, most were converted for street use and drag racing. This one looks like it was put away in the 60's, with correct matching numbers.

I found a 1974 BMW R90S this was an iconic bike for BMW as it was their first superbike and they won the AMA national championship with them. That bike will be ready to ride along with the special edition BMW R100RS that was supposed to be the last air cooled Boxer. We have lots of collectable Hondas from the famous step thru's, right to the early GL1000. Brit bikes: BSAs Triumphs, even a period Royal Enfield Chopper.

Dirt bikes: Classic Greeves, CZ, Honda etc. as well as a large amount of Motocross and Enduro bikes both vintage and modern.

There are lots of mopeds, scooters, mini bikes as well as a bunch of modern street bikes. Some of these bikes might run with gas and a battery, while some may need a bunch of work and some will be for parts.

We have some really old rough bikes and frames that go back to when Gordon's dad ran the shop.

We are having the auction on Sunday because the warehouse is in an industrial park and we will have lots of room to spread out plus parking. This is a one-day deal, so bring money and a truck. You need to be prepared to pay right after the auction and we will have pick-up right after you pay your bill. If you buy so much that you need to come back for more loads, no worries. Gordon's guys will be available during the following week.

There will be no Internet bidding or other foolishness, many of these bikes need work, you need to come and see them, win and lug them off.

This is a good old-fashioned real auction where we sell it all. Please come and join the fun.

We can take good old cash, just go get some and roll it up and stuff in your front pockets. We can take credit cards, but the banks charge us so much these days that we have to add 3%. We can only take checks from licensed dealers or people who have a bank letter of guarantee or if we know you very well. Cash is easy, everybody is comfortable with it. You pay your sales tax when you register your bike, not to us.

We have been pulling some bikes out and getting ready for this awsome auction at Razee's Cycles. CLICK HERE for images of available motorcycles.

Please come early, everything is sold "As Is" but we will give you any information that we have. We will have something for everybody and the buyers decide the price, our job is to make them go away.

Jerry Wood
